The Highstrike Team
Ben Zogby
CEO & Founder

I started Highstriked in 2018 with the vision of impacting the lives of traders around the world by giving them the resources I wish I had as I was learning to trade. Today, I have retired from trading and am working on growing our company’s impact in ways I never dreamed of. While I am now focusing on exciting products to further the Highstrike brand, the app being my main focus.
I have passed the educational torch to some of my most successful students to ensure you receive the best education possible.
Cam Meunier
COO

I am beyond grateful for this amazing opportunity to have such a large impact on the lives of so many people. Being part of the leadership team here has been a blessing in so many ways. I never joined with the intentions of trading, but after being around so many traders on a daily basis, I have started to pick it up. I have learned so much and look forward to trading with our team every morning!
My faith is the most important thing in my life to me. It shapes me and how I lead our team.

Our Best Advice for Beginners

Don't be scared to take losses and learn from them. As long as you are disciplined in the process, losses are going to teach you more than wins ever will.

Trading is a psychological game. You have to understand how your psychological composition corresponds with your trading. If those two components aren't aligned, you likely won't reach your true potential as a trader.

Be patient. You won't become a good trader in one day, one week, or even one month. I went to engineering school for four years of undergrad and plus one for grad school and am finally being rewards for it. Trading is no different. You need to put in time and effort consistently to be rewarded in the end.

More money does not make you a better trader. If you have 8 hours to cut down a tree, spend the first 6 sharpening the saw.

Never give up. There are so many books, videos, and other resources out there that can teach you how to be a successful trader. Come into it with an open mind and don't give up after two weeks. It takes time to learn. You will make mistakes throughout your trading career. Use these mistakes as lessons to learn and to not repeat them again. If you dedicate the time and energy to learn, you will succeed.

Understand that trading is 20% technicals and 80% psychology. There is a root cause for all emotions we experience. Whenever you start to feel your emotions come into play, try to identify what you're feeling (pride, anxiety, insecurities, etc.) and why. When you attack the problem at the root cause, it'll be easier to move forward. Understanding and processing the why will help you to stay calmer in the future.

The most important thing for me when trading is making sure I have strong risk management and do my own research before entering into positions. Never trust anyone else's due diligence until you've done your own.

Trading any financial asset is inherently risky and should be treated as such. Always do your own research and analysis before purchasing or selling any financial asset. Income is in no way guaranteed and you may lose money by trading stocks and options. The purpose of our platform is to educate students on various types of trading strategies, not to trade for students, provide signals, or in any way tell people specifically what assets to buy or sell.
Have patience. Too many new traders jump in without a plan or discipline and get wrecked. You can avoid that by being patient and waiting for the opportunities the market presents. Trading isn't about answering every question correct like an exam, it's about choosing the right questions to answer.
